Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate
You need to provide written notice of your intent to leave your home. Take a look at your lease if you have any questions about the length of your tenancy.
Property Condition
Your home must be returned to us in the same condition you originally rented it. To avoid cleaning and repair fees, take care of these steps:
- Rental Cleaning: Thoroughly clean the rental home, remove all of your belongings, and dispose of the trash. If necessary, wipe down your counters and walls and mop/sweep/vacuum all floors.
- Outdoor Space: If you are normally responsible for outdoor maintenance tasks, including landscaping chores, take care of these once more before moving out.
- Repairs: If any damage has occurred during your stay, take the necessary steps to resolve the issue. Replace burnt lightbulbs and any broken glass planes. If more substantial damage has occurred, please work with our managers to resolve the problem.
Security Deposit
The security deposit for your property will be returned to you as quickly as possible after you move out of your home. If any damage has occurred, we will schedule repair visits. Any costs for these visits will be deducted from the deposit before the remainder is returned to you.
